Presenting Elk
Elk are an acoustic music duo who soundtrack weddings. They perform songs that are old and new, chill and upbeat, all chosen to match the vibe of your special day. Want some live looping? Tambourine? Harmonies? They can do it!
We generally do some combination of playing in the ceremony, afternoon canapés and reception. Elk will work on organising a sound for the location and creating some beautiful moments so you can focus on what’s important — having a blast.
Manning grew up in one of those families where music was always being practised, performed, or sung in excessive harmonies in the kitchen. He has been in the Sydney music scene for 5 years, performing originals and covers. From weddings to pubs, parties to restaurants, it’s always an exciting and warming experience to play for others.
Kathleen has been singing since she was a young pup and thinks it doesn’t seem fair that she get to do something this fun as a job. Kathleen has been performing with her friends for over a decade and spends her week as a freelance visual artist and designer.
